Nicholas Heide is an emerging artist in Port Jefferson, New York. His demonstrated aptitude for art since childhood has allowed him to use it as a means to explore questions about the true inner self, especially in abstract art pieces. Nicholas Heide, who also goes by Nick, is continuously refining his techniques and producing more consistent yet deeper work. His ambitions have led him to participate in various art exhibits, such as one hosted recently by the Belle Terre Community Association in New York. He hopes to turn his artistic interests and abilities into a career.
Beginning in 2014, Nick Heide worked for the Air National Guard as a C-130 crew chief. He has a passion, pride and commitment for serving his country and continues with the Air Guard to this day. He has additional experience as a senior airfield technician specializing in coordinating and repairing equipment for air-to-ground communications between pilots and air traffic control.
Nick Heide earned an economics degree from the University of Connecticut in Storrs. His interests include rebuilding and driving old cars and motorcycles including a historic Camaro RS and various motorcycles, flying light aircraft, sports and physical fitness. He blends his love of art and motorcycles by painting abstract designs on motorcycle parts. He enjoys leading a physically active lifestyle which includes snowboarding, paddle boarding, boating and other water activities.
